Vote for the Freight Shed!

Alliance Board member Elizabeth Knowlton confers with Maeve McGowan,
a volunteer from Morse High School, at a community event.

We at the Bath Freight Shed are asking you to share our excitement about a recent nomination by the Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation for one of their annual $2000.00 awards. These awards support a wide range of activities in Maine by organizations dedicated to improving the quality of  life and society.

We are looking for support in winning this grant, and hope to use it to make healthy foods available to the whole community. As we make improvements to the Freight Shed we move toward providing a valuable, central, community setting for the Winter Farmers Market and educational workshops focusing on local healthy food, its preparation and use. We have existing projects underwaylike finishing our kitchen to better support community food events and programsthat would benefit  from this funding.

You can support us by voting by cell phone or computer.
2. Scroll down to District 14 and click on The Bath Freight Shed Alliance (Arrowsic is for mail only)
3. Scroll down to submit and click!
4. Repeat all of the above once a day until January 31st.

Thanks for your support and interestthis building matters and so do you!

Sincerely,

The Board and Volunteers of the Alliance
