Bath Winter Farmers' Market is in full swing!

Great things are happening at the Freight Shed and the market mornings are bustling!! So many people are actually walking to "their" downtown market, vendors are getting at least another hour sleep in the mornings and some are driving smaller vehicles since they don't need to transport their tables. Market mornings are also turning into a great time connect with area non-profits including KELT, ArtVAn, BRCTC so far.  This week Main St Bath will have information about all the wonderful things happening in Bath during December and Samantha Ricker will be on hand to tell you about her new book: The Maine Conscious Consumer. Next week the Bath Forestry Committee will be giving away small potted evergreen trees! Remember the winter market hours are 9AM-Noon.


We really could use some help battening down the hatches! Here's what's on deck - This "Hands on Friday" November the 30th  Noon -3:00PM Please join us - bring a friend. Together we will:

• Install plastic sheeting at east sill the length of the building
• Install rigid insulation at the soffits
• Re-purposed carpet for added insulation below vendor stalls
• Modify vendor stall wall
• Insulate below the bathroom
• Pick up some donated lumber (bring a truck if you've got one)
• General housekeeping
• Measure south wall pine boards / determine how much material is needed to complete the wall
